Interactive Developer

We need your help. We need you to help us build stuff.

We need you to help take our ideas to the next level. We need you to say "that's cool, I'm going to take this thing and make it the best it can possibly be." We need you to be passionate about the web and have a personal philosophy of doing work the "right way".

We need you to understand that we are a marketing company and that the end result of your masterpiece is to help people understand our client's products better.

You won't be building rockets here (not yet anyway). You'll be building websites, microsites, social media hubs, landing pages, mobile sites, flash apps, facebook apps, contests, marketing games and surveys just to name a few. You'll also need to maintain and update our current projects.

If you're the right fit we'll gladly pay you well, provide you with benefits and a casual work environment. You'll work directly with a great group of people, including strategists, designers, production artistsand other developers.

What we expect you know:

• Development languages such as standards-based XHTML/HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, PHP, ASP, .NET, SQL
  

• Public API integration (i.e., Twitter's REST API, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr)
• Working knowledge of CMS including Drupal/Wordpress/Custom
• Expert knowledge of web standards and cross-platform/browser issues
• Proven ability to consult on design and layout to take better advantage of available technologies
• Ability to take printed design mock-ups and visualize how to execute in HTML
• Ability to work with all of the Adobe design applications (PS,FW,AI,FL)
• A keen sense for good design and constant attention to detail

It would also be cool if you have skills in:

• Emerging technologies (mobile apps, augmented reality, social media integration)
• Version control systems like SVN
• Actionscript AS2 and AS3/Flex
• Joomla/Concrete5

More expectations:

• Experience in developing interactive applications for marketing solutions (at a digital agency, production house, or the like)
• At least 3-5 years of related work experience
• Must be able to handle multiple concurrent projects
• Comfortable working in a very fast-paced, and demanding environment

Finally:

• You should want to be excited to grow your knowledge, follow technology closely and interact with design, art and technology communities both online and in "the real world".
